With Dhanush portraying the anguished yet intense Shankar and Kriti Sanon stepping into the emotionally complex role of Mukti, the film introduces audiences to a story built on love, rage, longing, and heartbreak. The trailer gives glimpses of signature Aanand L Rai elements like dramatic emotional beats, grounded characters, and atmospheric visuals, including winter-soaked frames of Delhi, intense close-ups, and symbolic imagery that hints at the film’s thematic depth.

An A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, Tere Ishk Mein promises to blend performance, poetry, and passion into a cinematic experience. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film is set to release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 28, 2025.
