Kajol, who was last seen in Do Patti alongside Kriti Sanon, is set to star in Sarzameen alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan. In a recent interview with Variety, Kajol shared her excitement about working with debutant Ibrahim, praising his performance and expressing her anticipation for their on-screen collaboration. She also spoke about her first-time experience of working with Prithviraj, calling him “absolutely wonderful.” Although official details about Sarzameen remain under wraps, Kajol’s enthusiasm has heightened interest around the project.
Kajol is set to star in Maharagni – Queen of Queens, an action-packed thriller, marking her highly anticipated reunion with Prabhu Deva after nearly three decades. The two first collaborated in Minsaara Kanavu (1997), and now they return in this intense new project, directed by CharanTej Uppalapati. Recently, Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn unveiled the teaser, showcasing Kajol’s dynamic character in thrilling battle sequences. The film also features a stellar ensemble cast, including Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta, and Aditya Seal.
Kajol and Prabhu Deva are reuniting on screen after nearly 28 years since their successful collaboration in the 1997 Tamil film Minsara Kanavu. Directed by Rajiv Menon, the film, which also starred Arvind Swamy, became a massive hit. The Hindi-dubbed version, Sapnay, introduced the iconic song ‘Chanda Re’ to audiences.
