Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar imagines the late actor's desire to work with Diljit Dosanjh

On the fourth anniversary of Irrfan Khan's passing, his wife Sutapa Sikdar paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary actor. In a poignant Instagram post, she imagined a hypothetical conversation with her late husband, revealing his admiration for actors like Diljit Dosanjh and Fahadh Faasil.

Alongside a photo with Irrfan, Sutapa penned a detailed caption, vividly depicting what a dialogue with him in 2024 might have entailed if he were still present. "@ @diljitdosanjh bahut Dino baad Muzhe kisi ne apni acting se dil ko chua hai blessings," she wrote, indicating Irrfan's potential interest in working with the talented Punjabi actor.

The post caught the attention of Diljit Dosanjh himself, who responded with "AUM." Sikdar's reply further highlighted Irrfan's appreciation for exceptional acting talent: "Bahut Dino baad Muzhe kisi ne apni acting se dil ko chua hai blessings." 

Irrfan Khan, the revered actor known for his versatile performances, passed away on April 29, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer. His final film appearance was in Angrezi Medium, where he starred alongside Radhika Madan, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of countless fans and admirers across the globe.
