Ananya Panday turns kindness into art with so positive’s DIY bag charms and journaling
Kindness has always been the foundation of Ananya Panday’s initiative, So Positive — a platform that continues to find new and meaningful ways to connect with people. Earlier this year, Ananya introduced the Kindness Curriculum in collaboration with Slam Out Loud, an art-based learning program designed to help children explore empathy, compassion, and emotional intelligence through storytelling, poetry, and visual arts.
Ananya Panday personally lent her voice and presence to all six modules, guiding young learners through real-life lessons on kindness, self-acceptance, and community. The project felt deeply personal to her, reflecting the purpose behind So Positive — to inspire emotional awareness and genuine connection.
Following that, on World Mental Health Day, So Positive launched the concept of junk journaling — a creative practice that encouraged self-reflection and emotional expression. The activity invited participants to take a mindful pause, explore their thoughts, and show kindness to themselves. It served as a reminder that mental wellness often begins with small, consistent acts of self-care.
Now, on World Kindness Day, Ananya Panday has added another thoughtful initiative — DIY bag charm kits. Each charm acts as a token of gratitude and connection, reinforcing the message that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful; it simply needs to be sincere and consistent.
From classrooms to creative journals and now everyday accessories, So Positive continues to grow as a heartfelt movement — one that celebrates kindness in simple, creative, and lasting ways.
